Acupuncture Rates
Patients are responsible for understanding their benefits.
We understand that insurance benefits and billing can be confusing so if you have questions about your benefits or coverage, please reach out to your insurance company prior to your appointments!
Some insurance companies will provide coverage for acupuncture. The types of conditions that can be treated and the amount of covered visits varies by insurance plan. You can call the number on the back of your health plan ID card to find out if your insurance covers acupuncture.
We are considered “In-Network” with some health plans included in the following insurance companies:
... and many more!
We are considered "Out of Network" with United Healthcare for Medicare Advantage members, but can see many plans that have out of network benefits that also include "routine acupuncture" benefits.
As a courtesy: We will call your insurance company to verify benefits prior to your appointment.
***MOST PLANS HAVE A COMBINED VISIT BANK FOR ACUPUNCTURE AND CHIROPRACTIC BENEFITS. PATIENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING TRACK OF HOW MANY VISITS THEY HAVE USED WITHIN THE CALENDAR YEAR FOR ALL SERVICES IN THEIR BENEFIT BANK. ONCE BENEFITS ARE EXHAUSTED, THE PATIENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR ANY VISITS THAT EXCEED THEIR SPECIFIED LIMIT!
DEDUCTIBLES: If your deductible has NOT been met, and it applies to a service being rendered – WE WILL COLLECT A PORTION OF YOUR VISIT FEES TO BE APPLIED TOWARDS YOUR DEDUCTIBLE.
The remainder of your invoice will be billed to you once we have collected an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from your insurance.
The following amounts will be applied to your deductible at checkout:
If we collect fees from you and your deductible has been met, once the billing charges have been processed and finalized by your insurance company and The Point, you will be credited back the money owed to you, if applicable.
If you have a high deductible that you will not meet within the year, it is more cost-effective to pay cash at a discounted rate for services.
CASH Patients (No Insurance Coverage or “Out-of-Network”)
** DISCOUNTED RATES ARE APPLIED TO ALL “TIME OF SERVICE” CASH PAYING PATIENTS

We offer a comprehensive nutritional evaluation that allows you to address the root cause of your health concerns and well as addressing any symptoms. Chinese herbal medicines are powerful botanical agents (no animal products used) to treat various forms of illness and disease based on using ancient formulas according to an individuals body type and health condition.
Generally, powdered herbs are prescribed for most presenting conditions and require simply mixing with boiling water and drinking. No preparation or cooking time is required. Raw herbal medicines for external skin application are prescribed for dermatological (skin) conditions and may require preparation and cooking time. Patent pills (pre-formulated Chinese herbal medicines) are prescribed if the condition is less complex and does not require a specific herbal medicine formula to be dispensed to achieve results.
We use Active herb, Plum flower, green herbs, TCM and Sun Ten Laboratories Herbal products.
